Power Apps Canvas vs Model-Driven Apps

The decision between Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps should be based on business requirements rather than simply choosing the technology that looks easier to build. Canvas Apps provide significant control over the user interface and are particularly useful for task-focused applications, mobile scenarios, custom user experiences, and applications that need to connect to multiple data sources. Model-Driven Apps are more appropriate for data-centric enterprise applications built around Dataverse.
